Do you ship internationally?
We currently only ship within Australia.
Where are your products made?
All of Meika Studios products are handmade and poured in small batches on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
Are your products Vegan?
Yes. Meika Studios products are not tested on animals and do not contain and animal products. Our 100% natural soy wax and fragrance oils are all vegan friendly.
Why is there black residue inside my candle?
If black residue inside your candle has occurred it can be removed with a damp cloth or napkin. This can be cause by the wick not being trimmed prior to burning your candle. Remember to trim your wick prior to lighting as well as removing any charcoal from the wick (pinch with your fingers and discard).
My order was received damaged, what do I do next?
Unfortunately rarely this can occur during transit. If this occurs please email us directly at meikastudios@gmail.com with photo evidence (48 hours upon delivery) and we will investigate further.
What is your Customer Service Policy?
Meika Studios is proud to provide exceptional customer service and quality products. We work extremely hard to ensure all products advertised online are currently available and at an affordable price. Standard delivery is between 3-10 days- if for reasons out of our control the product you have ordered becomes unavailable we will notify you within 2 business days to either provide an alternative item, a backorder or a refund.
Do I need to sign for my delivery?
All orders being delivered to a residential property or a commercial address will require a signature on delivery- this is to ensure that your order arrives in the best condition possible and isn’t exposed to the weather.
Why is 100% natural soy wax better than other candle wax?
100% natural soy wax is a non toxic vegetable based wax that is derived from the oil of soybeans. Pure soy wax allows for a cleaner burn as it does not contain paraffin wax which can be toxic and less sustainable for our environment. Pure soy wax is plant based, all natural, biodegradable & sustainable, free of petroleum products and free from palm oil.
